Escape the Test! A Deeper Learning Puzzle Bus Prototype

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity full

Tests only get us so far, so how might we assess skills that matter in a way that is authentic and fun? This immersive pop-up experience combines the international craze of escape rooms and the educational imperative of helping students know how well they can demonstrate crucial deeper learning skills like: mastering academic content, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and maintaining learning mindsets. You will experience this mobile puzzle room as a new form of formative deeper learning assessment, have a chance to practice giving feedback to another team, build and test your own puzzles, and leave with inspiration and tools for how to equitably assess deeper learning within your own contexts.
